In 1999, Mike Portnoy formed the prog-supergroup of a life time featuring Neal Morse (Spock’s Beard), Pete Trewavas (Marillion), and Roine Stolt (Flower Kings). They had their last release in 2003 and haven’t been heard from since.

They all went on with their full-time gigs and as we waited for the day when hopefully, Transatlantic would be back.

2009 rolled around and sure enough the release of a new record! They followed the release up with a world tour in 2010 and this, live DVD; A Whirld Tour, 2010.

This is an epic prog-rock masterpiece brought to you in high-def and an essential component of any music collector. Never heard of Transatlantic before? This DVD also perfect for bringing you up to speed with their latest release and introducing you to some old favorites like “All The Above” and “Duel with the Devil” with the addition of Pain of Salvation’s Daniel Gildenlow on guitar and keyboards.
